Thanks For Your Criticism

Came into school with a name on my shoulder
They gave me a hard time, couldn't be any colder.
You need the right name with that athlete fame,
I had none of that, but I didn't complain,
I didn't let them get to me,
Told them I was meant to be.
They pushed me aside, they didn't care,
And I don't approve of things that aren't fair.
They harassed me to the point where they searched my purse.
This was something redundant, it wasn't the first.
Happened to find some LINT inside my handbag,
They gave me possession, like it was a dime bag.
After this I realized I had to get through it on my own
I had to come to school and I shouldn't stay home.
I realized these people were nothing to me,
And I've showed them that I'm where I'm supposed to be.
They told me my career was dead, but I'm here to resurrect me.
Authority says you do what they say
Little did they know I'm going to do this my way.
Their judgments slide off me like flowing water,
They told my mom to do something with her daughter,
Now their speculating some of my friends
But they know that its "power table" till' the end.
So I'll say to you now that when I'm rich and BALLLLLIN
I'll sign you a check cause your incomes STALLIN
Your judgments are affecting the kids
It appears you're driving them away, oops you already did.
Now my friends are dropping out one by one,
Please take the time to acknowledge what you've done,
Here's to my generation that's going down the hole,
With lots of confrontation because administrators didn't play their role.
They say marijuana leads to lack of motivation,
But it's the school that has more drop outs than sign ups at registration.
